Investor Compensation Fund

The Investor Compensation Scheme Act 2002 was passed by the Gibraltar House of Assembly on 14 June 2002 to give effect to EU Directive 97/9/EC which requires Member States to establish investor compensation schemes. The Act came into operation on the 24th July 2003. Investors Europe is a participant in the Gibraltar Investor Compensation Scheme. Further details of the Scheme are available at www.gics.gi
